What if I want to cancel my reservation?
We own the timeshare units that we are renting to you, and have already paid for the vacation time you are renting from us. Please make your decision carefully before you decide to rent a vacation from us. However, if you must cancel your reservation, we will refund a portion of your payment according to the following schedule:
- If you cancel more than 120 days before check-in, we will refund any payment above $250. This $250 is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- If you cancel more than 120 days before check-in, we will refund a maximum of $100.
- If you cancel more than 70 days before check-in, we will refund a maximum of $50.
- If you cancel with less than 70 days remaining before check-in, there will be no refund.
Can I trust you to give me what I've paid for?
Yes you can! But if you want to check us out a little, please go to Ebay and check under our username mcdonnald. You will see that we have completed almost 4,000 transactions with a 99.9% satisfaction rating. Our timeshare rental business is very important to us and we will do everything we can to ensure you have the vacation of your dreams in our rentals. Remember, we OWN these timeshares!
Why is this kind of rental different from a hotel?
You will be staying in a timeshare resort and not a hotel. Your unit will be your home for a full week. You will be able to prepare and eat some meals in your unit if you desire--the timeshare resort provides cookware and dinnerware. Most resorts do not offer daily maid service so you will need to make your own bed and wash your own dishes! Many timeshares offer activities at free or low costs to help you enjoy your vacation even more--be sure to get a list of activities when you check in and take advantage of them if they are of interest to you. Once you experience a vacation in a timeshare you may never want to stay in a hotel again!
Can I change the name on the reservation?
If you notify us at least one week prior to check-in, we can change the name on the reservation. There will be a $50 fee payable when you make your request to notify the resort and make the change. This fee is charged by the resorts and we must pass it along to you.
Do I have to take a timeshare tour?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! We own the timeshares that we rent to you, and you are going as our guests. You may wish to attend a presentation for the incentives that they offer but you are NOT obligated to do so. Please carefully consider whether the incentive is worth losing several hours of your vacation time, and please do not make any major financial decisions while you are on vacation!
Will I have to pay anything extra?
The price listed is your full cost for the time period specified. The resort will take a credit card imprint upon check-in to hold against charges to your room. The only extras you will need to pay are for any local taxes charged upon check-out, any telephone charges you incur, or activities fees if you decide to participate in paid activities, or any restaurant charges you may be able to charge to your room. Please note, however, that if you get wild and crazy and damage the room or its contents, the resort will charge you for that damage!
